It's still sad to see "food" go to waste. I wonder about the circumstances involved--did the butter fall off a truck or did some fartknocker steal it only to chunk it out the window for fun? No matter. It was funny to see a big butter-stain on the street.
Blah blah blah butter blah blah street blah mess blah blah. 
Look on the bright side -- that would have just made someone fat. Fatter.
